APRIL 2005 - Icon Interactive released I! Alert: a desktop monitoring tool for Google and Yahoo. This tool allows users to monitor their Google and Yahoo ranking in real time.
Troy Janisch, president of Icon Interactive?, said his company created the tool to fill the gap in existing programs to easily monitor keyword rankings in real time. ?We initially created the tool for ourselves and our clients to monitor the effectiveness of our search engine optimization services,? Most keyword monitoring tools are painful to use, he said, because they require that you remember to a username and password and you pay a monthly fee.
I!
