April 11-15, 2005, is officially "Cheese Week" at On Milwaukee. They began the week by interviewing Wisconsin's only "Dairy Lama."
Troy Janisch, creator of DairyLama and founder of Icon Interactive, shared his love for cheese and America's Dairyland in his first-ever interview as The Dairy Lama.
"The persona of the Dairy Lama is very different than my own," Janisch said. "It can be a challenge to forget about everything else and limit my conversation to poetry and cheese."

Icon Interactive and the Dairy Lama are proud to sponsor cheese carving to benefit America's Second Harvest food pantry during Gallery Night in Milwaukee of April 15.
During the event, Wisconsin artists will carve 40-75 pound blocks of cheese LIVE to the squeezably sweet sounds of the Riverwest Accordion Club. Icon Interactive and the Dairy Lama will be sponsoring sculptor Ray McDaniel. and providing prizes for the event.
McDaniel is an artist living in Wisconsin Dells who is becoming recognized around the world for his unique visionary style. Primarily known for his intricate collage compilations, he has also begun to receive enthusiastic attention for his work with sculptures.
This event is part of the April 14-15 Gallery Night event in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward. Wine, beer and cheese available for sipping and snacking. Donations accepted for America's Second Harvest food pantry.
