APRIL 2005 - Writing for web sites isn't the same as writing for traditional publications. Icon Interactive will help Wisconsin high school students and advisers bridge the gap at NEWSPA 2005.
Icon Interactive™ will lead Wisconsin high school students and advisers in a session on "Writing Styles for the Digital Age" at the 2005 NEWSPA conference. The conference is April 20, 2005, at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
More than 650 students and advisers from 42 Wisconsin high schools attended the annual event at UW Oshkosh organized by NEWSPA, an organization for the advancement of high school journalism students.
The Northeastern Wisconsin Scholastic Press Association, or NEWSPA, was formed in 1921 to improve student publications.
